One of the ways I stayed (relatively) sane during the past couple of election cycles was to retreat from m political issues and personalities and obsess instead about the nerdy horse-race side of it.

My favorite thing was the Five Thirty-Eight podcast, and of that my very favorite bit was the episodes in which Nate Silver would explain his statistical models. Riveting stuff! 😄 #nerdalert

I’m having an unreasonably good geeky time at work today. Using nginx to dynamically rewrite a web page via query parameters and publishing the whole thing into AWS Fargate in order to tie two other technologies together at the client side. This is the sort of thing I never got to do at my old job.
