Having just a couple of weeks ago discussed in my Intro to #RussianCulture class the many, often surprising aspects of the legacy of #Kropotkin‘s ideas (using a fine book by Stephen Marks, called How Russia Shaped the Modern World), I was really happy to find this phrase in a piece about Mastodon: “the fediverse's anarchist consent-based nature….” linked in the feed of @klagodzki. Sent an end-of-semester note to the 50+ students in the class. #nerdyprofessor
