@jonatan Yo!!! Spying on your parents is the move 😂. What are you routing up at Hetzner? Cause I have a vps from them as well as I'm using as my entrance to some ( one ) homelab service.. I'm using something called #netbird ( wiregaurd overlay) that routes internal.

Finally got my external #uptime-kuma working! Now I should know when my internet goes down.. next step is to move my reverse proxy out there and have that front end my one man band instance that I currently have.

I have been noticing that for whatever reason #netbird doesn't seem to start correctly when I reboot my vps. I have to go from the "outside" and restart it.. I'll look into it a bit later.

I love the concept of overlay networks! They are dope... until they don't work. #OVN has been solid until i run into something crazy and troubleshooting it so so hard. I rebooted a node and now the networks won't come back up.

I'm thinking now of possibly moving my #homelab to a flat #WireGaurd solution like #NetBird or similar. Anyone running their whole lab on #WireGaurd / Overlay #network / #networks ?

I'm pretty impressed with #netbird.. I have never used #tailscale so I'm not sure, but it feels that way. Has a management interface and you can just add an agent to connect shit via wireguard. It's open source and you can host the management interface. Netmaker looks good too.
