Here's what I know so far about the software on the laptop:

Currently, I have an #OpenWRT device that I use for DHCP and traffic shaping, and all wired devices and the #NetgearOrbi mesh Wi-Fi plug into that.

Orbi's guest Wi-Fi is useless when it's in AP mode, as this one is: every device gets access to the whole network. And Orbi doesn't support Vlans or adding extra APs, either. I could replace it, but it would be expensive.
