I noticed you for the two obvious reasons. Liked you because you're openly affectionate. But I fell for you (and stuck with #NeuralCloud) because of your compassion for all living things, even when others don't recognize it.

#NeuralCloud really does have some excellent #scifi writing. I don't think I've ever seen a "you gained the ability to self-sacrifice thus you must be sentient" ending be so ambiguous as to whether they gained that ability or if they merely followed their programmed instruction to die, both in and out of universe.

That's what makes it so frustrating the the game's monetization is so in your face. It's quite F2P friendly but I'd only recommend it to #gacha players because of those nags.

Huh, the plot of the current #NeuralCloud event is a variant of the paperclip problem.

1. Ascension Sector's admin was tasked with maximizing the number of prosthetic devices manufactured
2. Losing contact with humans meant no new orders, thus no new raw materials
3. Admin redefines "irreparably broken" to be any damage at all by eliminating repair functions
4. Irreparably broken agents can be recycled for raw materials
5. New prosthetics are constructed
6. Prosthetics are assembled into agents

I know that I am, at best, half paying attention to parts of the story in #NeuralCloud but I am still consistently happy whenever De Lacey shows up. I assumed that I'd mostly like her for the pair of obvious reasons and because she's openly affectionate but that's really not it.

She consistently treats everyone she meets as though they are a person with inherent dignity who is worthy of respect and empathy, even when they don't consider themselves to be sentient beings worthy of it.

So many of the white day romance vignettes in #NeuralCloud are amazing. They're short and sweet with good characterization but, most impressive of all, they're romantic in different ways.

My favorite character, De Lacey, doing the most important job on the assembly line in #NeuralCloud.

The White Day vignettes in #NeuralCloud are so well written. I hadn't realized that it was something that I had been craving from a gacha game for a while since there's nothing of the sort in #Arknights and I've forgotten them from #FGO.

They're all so sweet and romantic. Even the one with Vee, a character who normally gives me the heebie jeebies had my head tingling. They aren't particularly long but they don't need to be. They have high production value too.

It's just a great event.

Today has been a great day to illustrate why I am enjoying #NeuralCloud so much. By coincidence, three nifty things happened today and they all bring me some joy.

First, the new White Day event has a upgrading a chocolate factory for Coco. It includes an assembly line we can assign our dolls to in a cute sort of mini-game version of our base. It also includes a chocolate themed version of 2048 (and the rewards are calibrated so you don't have to be great at it).

I love low-stakes fluff events.

#NeuralCloud aside from the first week I've found Exception Protocol to be extremely difficult, slow, and unfun. Is this just what it's like or is there some kind of trick here? Definitely seems like way too much to expect from players multiple times a week.

I have Kuro so from what I've seen kuro daiyan croque angela pres/de lacey is my best bet.

Got the de lacey/Hatsuchiri combo going too. Literally only missing Aki and nanaka actually.

I feel like I must be doing something wrong in #NeuralCloud since Nanaka is almost always my MVP for a floor. She's a medic. That means I'm not doing enough damage, doesn't it?
