Very soon I became attracted to a small 10 key c acrylic #kalimba that was there. I am #neuroatypical (#autistic and #adhd), and soon found me staying in the rooms during breaks to play stim with the kalimba, because the sound, texture and repetition were soothing to me. I asked one for Christmas and my mom went fully with it, I have now a wooden 17 keys kalimba with a hole (soundboard? Not familiar with English music vocab sorry). The two firsts weeks I would just stim with it.

I'm a bit of a walking contradiction, which is why I HATE "centrism"... people trying to disguise their fear by claiming a mythical "middle" as a shield. Screw neolibs.

Part of that is my #NeuroAtypical bent; ADHD, PTSD and likely autistic (only the first two have been diagnosed conclusively). Got the ADHD diag at 31, and three decades later still figuring out what that means.

No, it's NOT a super power. No use for that pig's lipstick. /

Ohhh, now I get why our psychotherapist told me and my Wife that together we are the best psychotherapy for each other.

Only combined we are able to function as a singular grown-up. It's like #dragonball fusion or two kids in the trench coat and only together we can seem to #adult

As someone with executive function issues, dates mean very little to me & I do NOT want to have to scroll for ages to find an image I want to post.

my article is about the unaccounted contribution of #psychiatric science to justify massacres, with #eugenics and #behaviourism.

Because #ActuallyAutistic, #ADHD and more broadly #Neurodivergent people are still discriminated against for the same reasons.

And we are even tokenised by transphobic J.K. Rowling to discriminate against #LGBTQ

This is not an article detailing the atrocities.

Rather, it's about relaying the call to psychiatrists to finally change the way they diagnose #neuroatypical people.

Because it hasn't changed since before the Second World War. And maybe it goes back to colonialism itself...
