Announcing Climatematch Academy!

The existing #ClimateScience research community severely underrepresents the global population that will be impacted by climate change.

Climatematch Academy strives to create a globally diverse climate science community, trained on cutting edge techniques to access and analyze open-source modeled and observational climate data.

Launching summer 2023: This two week program introduces fundamentals of climate science by taking advantage of open-source, python-based tools, to access, analyze and interpret climate data.

Building Community: In an effort to build a globally-diverse climate science community, they are building on the successful #NeuromatchAcademy teaching model, with the potential to reach thousands of students world-wide.

Students will be matched based on common interests, timezone, and preferred language. Students receive personalized support as they work through hands-on tutorials in climate science and collaborate on course projects.
