Adenosine works by binding to different receptors on neurons and other cells, which can reduce the responsiveness of these cells and is also involved in #neurovascular coupling in the brain.
Although there has been a lot of progress in understanding the role of adenosine in physiology and disease, there are still not many products available that use adenosine and its related compounds.
