-They finished the stage 2 tank and a qualification campaign will begin in Q3.
-The stage 2 cryogenic test stand rig is build, ready for testing.
-LC-3 pad earthworks commenced.

The Neutron engine, Archimedes has also met a few milestones:

-Trust Chamber development on schedule.
-Injector development testing underway.
-Avionics hardware built and HITL testing underway.

The old design had a more tapered body, taller fairings, and non retractable landing legs.

What could be the issue? For local syslog you just need the unix socket /dev/log. And then we looked inside the namespace...

For some reasons (#WTF WHY??? 🤷) systemd-journald replaces /dev/log with a symlink to /run/systemd/journal/dev-log ( this setting is in /lib/systemd/system/systemd-journald-dev-log.socket).

Inside of the namespace there is a dedicated run directory, not sharing the unix socket from outside. So syslog is **broken** with #neutron vpnaas on #systemd.

#neutron vpn-agent runs charon for each router inside a netns with some bind mounts mapping /etc/strongswan.d from /var/lib/neutron/ipsec/$ROUTER_ID/etc/strongswan.d.

This directory is copied each time the vpn is started from /etc/strongswan.d/, so you could customize logging settings (but the reasonable defaults already enable syslogging).

So we expect that it should just log - but nothing showed up in journald 👀 nor /var/log.

Today we tried to debug a #strongSwan based #neutron VPNaaS setup on a Ubuntu based #OpenStack 2023.1 #Antelope deployment.

As a first approach we expected hints in the syslog messages, but we find....

No charon logs (but `ps ax` shows that charon is running!). Absolutely nothing, nil, null, None, SILENCE! 😧

We need to go deeper... ⛏️

Después, el 1 de junio, la Royal Society publicaba un segundo artículo en el que el físico y premio Nobel probaba, finalmente, la existencia del #neutrón.

Chadwick bombardeó una delgada lámina de berilio con partículas alfa y el metal emitió una radiación de muy alta energía, similar a los rayos gamma.

Experimentos posteriores demostraron que esos rayos realmente constan de un tercer tipo de partículas subatómicas, a las que Chadwick llamó neutrones debido a que eran eléctricamente neutras.

Con este descubrimiento se ofrecía por primera vez una imagen completa del átomo, algo de importancia capital para la física y la química. Su trabajo fue decisivo para la creación de la bomba atómica.
