As a dual citizen of both the USA & Italy, I tried to expose the far right in Italy (& France) and as most things European, fell on deaf ears in America on Twitter.

Italy & France are in trouble from the increasing influence and meddling of fascism, just like the US is. There is no difference other than the fact that in Europe, the children of WW2 veterans as opposed to the grandchildren of US WW2 vets are advancing it.
