If I remember right, her mom couldn’t have a lasting relationship with a guy and that’s the role model Nabi grew up with and why she was afraid of dating. (I could have that totally wrong.)

I think the guy who beat him up was related to a woman he was sleeping with. Maybe the one he ended it with in the cafe?

I got the impression that he picked his apartment because it was right over the shop.

Now I think I will have to go watch again. It’s always more fun when you’ve thought about things and gotten someone else’s perspective.

I’m fairly sure I remember a scene where he’s leaving or going to a hotel. I got the impression that he was seeing others when they first started, but he ended things with the others as time went on.

My thinking was that his first girlfriend wouldn’t commit to him and that messed him up. Then she came back regretting her decision, but he had already moved on.

I may have to go back & rewatch this one 😉 🦋 I may need to refresh my memory.

You are right, he was very thoughtful - probably why I was rooting for him. I think the lack of commitment is what made him the “bad” guy.

There's a lot going on in my head.
But one more episode of Nevertheless on Netflix.
Some K-drama to free and ease the mind.
The show is a bit too cheesy/emotional for me. Some behavior from both lead characters seems odd, at least.
But anyway, it's easy on the brain and that's what I need.

I am halfway through the 10 episode (het) romance #kdrama #Nevertheless. It’s such college melodrama and relationship angst that could be solved if people just talked to one another but what fun would that be? Anyway, it’s about a FWB couple that just can’t get their emotions/histories on the table. So she is always wondering if he’s truly the asshole he seems. It’s SUCH melodrama and I’m just. 👀👀👀 nonstop moments of “how does no one notice how awkward this is” but :blobcatchefkiss:
