At long last, I've completed my read-through of #dccomics #TheSpectre #comicbook #chronology for pre- #New52 canon.

I did not care for #CrispusAllen or that whole era of the Spectre and I'm glad it's over.

I finished my #MadameXanadu pre-#New52 #chronology with the #Vertigo #comic series by #MattWagner et al.

What. A. Series! This quickly became one of my top #dccomics / Vertigo comics. I'm absolutely in love with this series and the way Madame Xanadu's history was interwoven with DC Comics history.

I highly recommend this series if you're looking for something off the beaten path when it comes to DC comics.

I've been reading through the #CrispusAllen run of the #Spectre and finished #FinalCrisis Revelations today. Gotta say, not really a fan of Cris as the Spectre. I get the angle the writers were going for with his story but it doesn't resonate with me like #JimCorrigan or #HalJordan's did.

Taking a little break to read #Shadowpact (for #Enchantress) and the #MadameXanadu series to catch up on my parallel chronology readings before closing out the pre-#New52 Spectre continuity.

@moviestvposting aww they include #WonderWoman trying ice cream for the first time. I’m not a big “accuracy in comic book movies” kinda guy but I do like that they included this (based on a scene from the #New52 #theNew52 #JusticeLeague )

new 52 supergirl. I know folks had mixed feeling about this look, but I liked it. the cape around the collar with the gold trim, the hair, the boots, though I can see how the lower half of the suit is a bit odd haha. regardless, I liked it. :)

I've finished my comprehensive #Marvel #MoonKnight #comic history re-read with the (awful) Age of #Khonshu #Avengers arc.

Now I move onto a read of #dccomics' #TheSpectre, starting with More Fun Comics #52 and working my way through his three major hosts (Corrigan, Jordan, and Allen) up to his recent appearance in #DarkCrisis. Lots of stuff I've never read before, and all to bolster/refine my #comicbook chronology project for the character.
