Question re #AltText and #VisuallyImpaired friends here on Mastadon: if someone posts media and writes out what the media shows in the toot, is that sufficient? The reader will cover the words in the toot, so should the author still add the alt text?

Why can't I post from my page?
I have to go to my timeline and grab the pencil/pen (whatever you call it 🙃) to post something.

When I go to my Followers, I can't see if I'm following them back. There's no way to see or to follow them back if they're following me.

I hope that I made sense. My brain isn't firing on all 4 cylinders since my stroke.

I reported someone today who called me his dear, and when I went to his account, he had 0 followers and was following a LOT of women. His timeline was him saying hello and calling women DEAR.

So I reported him as spam and will let the powers-that-be decide if I'm right or wrong. I blocked him. I don't want to be a stranger's dear.
