Treated myself to my first pair of Doc Martens since the 90s. Dressy - to wear with skirts and tights. Waited for weeks for them to go on sale, and then they did. I think I love them. #NewBoots

Well, after five hours out taking Mrs Llama to and from a 'fifteen minute hospital appointment' (sheesh) came home to find - joy of joys - my new walking boots are here! 😍

May they last as many miles as the last pair (~750miles/ 2.6 years roughly speaking)

I sold a bunch of my Pyrex collection over the last week or so and bought new-to-me 1980s-era #Docs. These are possibly the most comfortable boots I have ever owned (other than the 2000-era Miranda DMs).

Yes, am now contemplating which #Pyrex will be the next to get liquidated. 😂🤷‍♀️ No regrets, just epic #vintagefootwear! Apparently it took me until my late 40s to become a proper shoe hound. Who could have predicted this? 🤷‍♀️
