Not my usual lane, but I'll dip my toe into #FungiFriday. We were visiting the #Adirondack Interpretive Center in #Newcomb, NY. It was September, after a wet summer, so #Fungi were found in abundance.

First up, this gilled #mushroom growing out of the trunk of a fallen hemlock, which was itself sprouting new growth.
