#newpenday and #newinkday

I've been reallynhappy with my #TWSBI and looking at another one. This time I tried out a narrower nib. I'm also looking forward to learning the ins and outs of the vacum fill. But I'm surprised at the different finishes of the iris colours. The rest of the iridecent parts are the same but the clip is smooth on the diamond 580 and very textured on the Vac 700R.

Been wanting a bottle of this #ink for ages but couldn't quite budget it. I've eyed it wistfully at my local art store a few times.

Today I was waffling about it again so I decided to check the art store's website for their hours. Turned out, today they're having a one-day "25% off everything in the store" sale!

So yes I walked right the hell over there, and managed to get their last bottle ... Behold, Pilot Iroshizuku Tsuki-yo.

I was very excited when #Montblanc announced that they had come out with a #new #purple #ink, a week & a half ago.

While #Beatles #PsychedelicPurple is still my clear favourite, #JimiHendrix #PurpleHaze scratches the itch. It's a tinge more on the red side than Psychedelic Purple, but it isn't quite the maroon-purple of #EnzoFerrari.

As a #writer, I really appreciate the #creativity of #writing with different #colours of #inks.

What colours and brands of inks are your favourite?
