I am glad to officially start a new position as an associate professor at the Université Sorbonne Paris Nord, in the IAME (infection, antimicrobials, modelling, evolution) research unit.

I recently started my first full time position in Web Development. Nearing the end of my 3rd week now, and I am so far loving it. Our toolset is a little wonky (we're not using anything 'typical' unfortunately), but that only adds to the adventure and learning opportunities!

This week, i start my new library job. It's been a long time coming.

I planned to go to grad school around 2018. I enrolled in 2020. Earned my Masters in Library and Information Science in 2022.

Eight months post graduation, I now have the career job. Head Librarian of three small rural libraries. The goal is to do the best job I can and to be the best steward I can.

Here's hoping.
