And so it begins.

Todays is destruction and the laying out of cables/wiring for extra lights, sockets and new ovens and hob.

Tomorrow is connecting all of that wiring up, they'll probably overboard the ceiling with new plasterboard as it'll be easier than trying to patch 9 holes where lights are being moved.

With any luck, electrics and plastering, completed by end of Friday. So the new kitchen can be installed next week. 4 day week as Easter weekend 7-10th April I think.

New kitchen being fitted from Tues or Weds. So spent that last couple of days rearranging rooms and clearing the kitchen. Setting up a temp cooking area in the downstairs study/bedroom, clearing the dining room for space for workmen and assembly, clearing utility for workmen to make drinks and snacks.

Gonna be a rough few weeks and lots of easy to prepare convenience foods and takeaways. So also prepping easy meals to microwave and airfry.
