Busy Monday morning at the sugar water bee feeder, which also brings red wasps & other flying stingers. Most often, the wasps will bully the bees off a preferred spot. But not THIS bee. Not today.
That tenacious little girl latched onto the wasp's back leg & fought her all over the space until I relieved her of the task.
It has to be pretty wild to be fighting off & staring at the wasp's stinger trying to stab you in the face.
