Another wonderful postcard for the fridge. This one is a photo, taken by the sender, of a surfer rather dwarfed by what I think is Moturoa and Whareumu/Lion Rock, off the coast of New Plymouth, on the North Island's west coast. It is very special to have such a genuinely unique, handcrafted postcard.

Surprise gin tasting this afternoon at #Juno in #NewPlymouth. I bought a bottle of their signature gin and Monica gin. I really should have gotten a bottle of their winter gin with the symbolic naked women dancing around a fire as the label artwork. It was lovely hearing about their business principles and the stories behind the logo design
