Two views of Sandstone Falls, on the New River, in West Virginia's New River Gorge National Park and Preserve.
It's hard to capture the impressive width of these falls. These views show the main stretch, but they were taken from an island part way across the overall river width.
Overall, the falls are 1500 feet wide and drop 10-25 feet.
