I enjoyed a this weekend. :
"I collect Russian dolls, the type where each doll can be opened to reveal a smaller one inside. I am particularly fond of my single-colored ones, which come in sets of five( and, unusually have a hollow smallest doll). I have five lovely sets of them, each a different color.

Was so disappointed when I realised it was actually "New Scientist DISCOVERY TOURS" and not, as I first imagined, a disco of mathematicians, physicists, chemists and geologists all dancing to Math Rock, Queen ('cos Brian May) , D:Ream ('cos Brian Cox!) and Thomas Dolby ('cos Magnus Pyke obvs!) ;p

Some important public information (source - ). Put the milk in the tea at the start if you want it to stay warmer.

Although Iā€™m disappointed that they didnā€™t confirm whether to put the milk in the cup first.

I must be reading too many pieces where timetables are in millions of years. Today I read in that our local cloud will be merging with the local in 2,000 year's and briefly thought "oh good, something I'll be around to see" šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø @profbriancox @stephenfry

Mind slightly blown by this article on our solar system travelling through interstellar space. The timescales of 2000 & 8 million years time are both incomprehensibly long and also but-a-blink-of-an-eye when thinking about the 4.5 billion year age of the Earth šŸ¤Æ
