For those not familiar with the SydneyCityTV story so far...

*I was a regular contributor for a certain forum for just over a decade - how that association ended is rather long story is for another time though!
*I 've been over on the bird site for nearly a decade - for how much longer, remains to be seen.
*I initially joined Mastodon under the mastodon.au server, however the impending closure of that one has resulted in me moving here!

I'm constantly following the latest TV/radio news, especially from a Sydney perspective. Surprisingly though, I could probably count on one hand the number of media people I've had any significant interactions with in real life.

Of course, I'd personally like to see the Australian media better represent the autistic/other neurodivergents for the benefit of younger people. But sadly, I'm not sure if true acceptance is likely to happen unless/until we see prominent examples on Australian commercial TV.
