By the way, don’t get me wrong, I am also hyped for #SuperMarioBrosWonder. For one, it’s the first major new branding for a 2D Mario platformer in… decades: #NewSuperMarioBros made it sound like something derivative, which it was in many ways, and the same for #SuperMario3DLand.

Then, this elephant powerup is interesting, evocative of Wario-like transformations from #WarioLandII for instance.

Just saw the trailer for #SuperMarioBrosWonder and it looks like they took #NewSuperMarioBros and then upped the hallucinogen dosage for the team by quite a bit. Considering the Mario Bros games were most likely always made under the influence of shrooms, maybe we should hold an intervention.

But seriously, it looks very fun, so let's just not do the intervention.

@sancas En 2D tienes el New Super Mario Bros, tambien idóneo para "principiantes" o el Mario Maker 2, aunque hay que buscar niveles fáciles.

Los Kirby tambien tienen fama de accesibles en este sentido.

Eso de comprar juegos y tenerlos en lista de espera... nunca me ha pasado. Exprimo al máximo el juego que sea y salgo a buscar otro juego.

Peach is also playable from the beginning of #SuperMario3DWorld. Apparently the decision was made to not have her playable in #NewSuperMarioBros because her dress would have been too hard to animate (but, you know, they could do it on the NES…), but I guess better late than never.
