Right off, it's triggering for the religious trauma. Too reminiscent of the religious belief i left too late. I'm a skeptic. But my squeamishness also comes from how the law of attraction is centered on that wealth worship aspect of our culture that made me take a hard anti-capitalist turn myself.

I think positive thinking can improve things in health/life, but the law of attraction is bullshit.

It feels a little like folks work backwards to justify what amounts to good luck, privelige, & some skill maybe & make it seem like they created this success whole cloth. They have a need to prove they "deserve" what they have. Systemic inequality, brain chemistry, etc disappears or is nonexistent in their world. They blame poor people for their condition and we're back at a run of the mill cruel, selfish conservative ideology.
