I can't ID that either. I've declared that apple mint because of rounded leaves. 3 years ago I transplanted some to #Harborlab at the base of Vernon Blvd in #lic by #NewtownCreek. It's doing ok.

#FruitWalls explain why things grow so early and quickly at #HarborLab on #NewtownCreek. Didn't know that sometimes the walls had no other purpose than to reflect light and warm plants.

which describes the use of the Newtown Creek Dignester eggs and organics collection as a pilot of Waste Management. #DSNY is slow walking this like you wouldn't believe. Ask #NewtownCreekAlliance how long that facility has been flaring gas and talking about actually providing it to #NationalGrid customers. At least 4 years.

@Anthro @atthenius If its so bad than those Bronx River dams should be #EPA #Superfund sites. Certainly more bang for the buck can be obtained by sediment removal there than can be obtained in #NewtownCreek or the #Gowanus.

@nyc2msp @timrichards #UpperWestSide. I've been in #Greenpoint often. #Brooklyn has amazing #bikeInfrastructure. I've swum in the #EastRiver at #TransmitterPark and #MarshaPJohnsonStatePark. I belong to an organization that does free kayaking and is located on #NewtownCreek in #LongIslandCity called #HarborLab. Daughter is in #ProspectHeights on a sublet.
