yep. another new toy. this one’s all for me. it lets me hook up my ukulele (or other instrument with that kind of jack) to a soundboard/amp with no cords to trip on.

I charged them up and tested them with my little Roland AC amp and by golly they work as advertised. mind you, these aren’t Bluetooth devices, they use the UHF spectrum.

best part? only cost me $12 and some pennies.

need to learn more instrumental tunes so I can wander off stage and get right into the audience’s faces

my sweetie just bought a humongous ULED TV. (thing’s nearly 4 feet wide.) she’s an Amazon Prime member and both of us want to watch Good Omens 2 on a larger screen than any of our devices have. she also picked up various accessories (e.g. the Apple TV dongle and the assorted cables so we can still watch her huge DVD collection).

me being me, I wanted to see if I could watch my Youtube videos at that size. yep.

didn’t even get all pixelated.

I finally made it to the big screen. 😉

Well, after a tough week I got a few hours to spend setting my new Orange PI 5. I got it to boot, now I need to get SSH to work and the. I can customize the OS.
Ubuntu is a strange beast here but I enjoy tinkering. Will definitely write an how-to for this.
