63 followers · 503 posts · Server mastodon.artA couple of weeks ago I emailed one of the city council members that I voted for on the basis that she mentioned bike and pedestrian infrastructure to ask about connecting a local shopping center to the new bike path they just finished putting in last year. I actually got a response back and she's looking into it! I doubt anything will come of it, but at least I'm putting the bug in her ear and doing what I can to improve the bike network!

Energy needs to be included in design and #Planning to allow for #Renewables to be installed.
As oil/gas inputs fall will need to adjust buildings. Spreading out the density will be the hallmark of resilient cities. I feel cities already in this range will fair far better
