Currently watching the 2nd season of #NextInFashion on Netflix. Slightly sulky they changed out the female host, but I'm also liking the new female host, so not *too* sulky.

Also *really* enjoying how diverse the group is. A touch less comfortable where one challenge forced a trans designer to come out on international TV ... But, there was no deadnaming, and while they* were obviously quite stressed over it (it was reimagining of a childhood outfit from a specific photo), it almost seemed ... cathartic in a way?

* The person is binary trans, but I don't want to out them here, and using their used pronoun would narrow it down who they might be.

#NextInFashion is back on Netflix and every time I watch one of these, I really miss sewing. Shortened some pants just to scratch the itch today, but I feel like I want to start a serious project soon. Maybe a romper or dress or something....

I'm sorry but, no, there is nothing special about Gudoy's childhood dress. There's a story behind it, sure, but putting it on a male model makes it showstopping!? I feel I could send a guy to David's Bridal and find the exact same dress.

Now James, on the other hand, at least had an an interesting take as a girl pining for a boys striped shirt. He also added a plaid skirt and scarf so this is an entirely biased opinion.
