i bring this up because 1) i can't determine if this is just driven by jealousy or 2) i am just way too cynical

i have convinced myself these people exist, and this comes up now because i feel (i know) i met one of these people on a trip last week.

painful part, besides questioning my sanity, is that no one seems to see it, means i can't mention it to anyone because it would be met with "what do you mean?? you don't like him??" etc.
