gestern wurde wieder im Kinder- und Jugendzentrum Die Burg gespielt.

Diesmal aber keine klassische Rollenspielrunde. Vielmehr kam Cthulhu Wars auf den Tisch. Bei dieser Kombination aus strategischem, asymmetrischem Brettspiel und Lovecraft-Horror kämpften die erwachten Großen Alten um die Weltherrschaft.

Ich habe mir eine neue #Shimano #Nexus-Nabe gekauft. Und muss jetzt ein wenig über den #CO2-Fußabdruck meiner #Fahrrad|fahrerei nachdenken. Spoiler: (Kaum) mehr als ein Epsilon. Nebenbei verleihe ich den König Æþelbyrht-Preis für grässliche Alltags-Einheiten.

Ich hab mir mal #Apex von #RamezNaam gestern bestellt im #BuchkontorTeltow leider Lieferzeit von 1-2 Wochen, aber die zwei anderen Bücher #Nexus und #Crux fand ich großartig, und das #Buch ist irgendwie an mir vorbei gegangen.

Wer Bock auf eine Reihe #SciFi #Thriller hat wird hier definitiv fündig.

6000 km en un peu plus d'un an.
On avait fait 500km en 3 mois avant de s'installer dans l'Ouest en août avec @julie. Et puis, ici, sans voiture, ça s'est un peu accéléré: 500 à 600km par mois.

Le moteur #Shimano e6100 tient toujours, on croise les doigts (il parait qu'il n'y a ni maintenance, ni réparation possible... un non-sens !!!).

Le #Nexus 5 tient aussi, mais pour combien de temps ? Je garde un oeil sur les #Rohloff tout de même.

Pour le reste, le #bullitt tient ses promesses.

Few days later, and #Sonatype #Nexus #Repository has been very nice to have. Updating my laptop on my write-from-a-coffee-shop Saturday was nice and smooth thanks to the local cache — I VPN into my home network when out and about, to benefit from #PiHole and things like this #yum #repo #proxy #cache.

This morning I wanted to see how involved setting up the same for my VMs running #Debian and.. it's even easier. So now all my VMs are pulling in from the same proxy with cache. Nice!

I have #Sonatype #Nexus #Repository set up and running for a couple of days now.

It does involve manually configuring #Fedora to use these repositories instead of the defaults. I've added these pre-configured #yum repo config files to my dotfiles, so it's easy to copy in place for a new install.

It's been quite nice so far. Definitely faster when updating more than one machine/vm as it can use already cached versions, rather than re-download everything again.

Next up; #debian repo proxies.

It seems to let you set up a new key to sign packages/repo meta data, but I cannot find any option to set up which key it should use to validate the remote content being proxied/cached 🤔

@mbwelch Yeah, for sure. They still do nice stuff like paying for your #Netflix and #AppleTV.

I switched from Verizon to T-Mobile like 8 years ago because I wanted to get a #Nexus phone. Back then the coverage was not nearly as good, but it was so much cheaper and allowed for more phone choice. It looks like now they are still cheaper and have a top-tier network.
