Heute war leider schon wieder das letzte Konzert dieser Saison.
#TayfunGuttstadt (voc + #Ney - eine Rohrflöte), #YaelGat (voc + Trompete) und #WassimMukdad (#Oud) - drei fantastische Musiker waren mit einem vielseitigen Programm zu erleben. Die schönsten Momente waren allerdings die, in denen sie ohne Hintergrundsound und -drums ganz analog Musik machten...

@Dianora I'm not representative of most groups, but yep, Delia Darbyshire rocks! And nope, she hasn't been lost to obscurity!
However, I have to admit that if #Bach wrote his Air on a G string for #piano and #Turkish #Ney like this, I'd be a JS fan for life! Sadly, this is from 10 years ago on YT and it's reasonably soft, but it's just lovely. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HCI9nU6xZwk

Michel Ney was a marshal in Napoleon’s army, a heroic figure called "the bravest of the brave" by #Napoleon. When the monarchy was restored in 1815, Marshal Ney was accused of plotting Napoleon’s return and charged with treason. At his execution he refused to wear a blindfold and was allowed to give the order to fire.
