Nymphs (3rd and 4th instar) of the southern green shield bug (#Nezara viridula).
Originally from the tropics and subtropics, this now cosmopolitan #shieldbug arrived in Germany in 1979 and has become firmly established in the south-west of the country. Due to the very warm weather in recent years, the population has increased considerably.
