Taking a break from the new album & #NowListening to #NFR! by #LanaDelRey.

‘Goddamn man-child…’ is one hell of an opening line & #LDR sustains that mood & that quality of songwriting across a double album. I love #DidYouKnowThatTheresATunnelUnderOceanBlvd, but this, for me, is a stonecold classic & one of the best albums of the century to date.

This is 1st UK pressing is nothing special. Some surface noise in places, but otherwise decent dynamics.

It’s another #LanaDelRey day & I’m #NowPlaying #DidYouKnowThatTheresATunnelUnderOceanBlvd for the 5th time.

I’m a big #LDR fan & this, for me, is really close to peak. It’s not quite hitting me like #NFR, but it feels like it’s in that kind of ballpark. & #A&W is most certainly something else. It’s right up there.

This is the standard black #vinyl pressing alas neither this nor the indie only green is flawless. This is a bit noisy - but I can live with it.

Happy #LanaDelRey day! Just about to crack open #DidYouKnowThatTheresATunnelUnderOceanBlvd.

I’ve been looking forward to this - the singles suggest that this might be closer to #NFR than Blue Bannisters.

This is the limited edition indie exclusive (green, for some unfathomable reason). I do have the pink variant & the plain ol’ black on their way: but they won’t be here until tomorrow.

I don’t generally consider myself a completest, but it’s #LDR… What can I say?

Slow Sunday morning & I’m getting into a #LanaDelRey state of mind in advance of next week’s album drop.

If #NFR represents the high peak, the #Ultraviolence threatens to crest the summit right alongside it. The songs are well crafted & distinctive, but for me, it’s all about the mood: something akin to last sigh of the golden age of Hollywood. Maybe not that, but whatever it is, it perfectly suits the medium of #vinyl.

This UK OG sounds as it should.

It’s a Sunday afternoon, glass of red wine to hand, #listening to #BlueBannisters by #LanaDelRey. Not sure what it is about LDR, but she’s become a #guiltypleasure of sorts, and I’m not a pop guy at all. As an album, Blue Bannisters is right up there with #NFR and #Ultraviolence. This UK first pressing is pretty well done - a tad noisy in places, but otherwise good dynamics and as mellow as.
