Few NFSIII sessions later my current best lap time on Hometown track improved to 1:08.46
Now - after all these years - I can truly appreciate how good that game was (and still is) in providing fun. Yes, yes - there is no realism, and tuning is just some sliders, but improving your racing line, sliding through the corners and catching all those tenths of seconds is the esence of racing for me. And that esence is there.

I’ve recently managed to make Need for Speed III work on Windows 10. I used to love this game. We’ve had a competition going with my friend - best lap time on Hometown track done with Mercedes CLK-GTR. Funny, I still remember his time - 1:07.15 and mine 1:07.21
I’ve always said to myself - one day I will beat him. Now that I’ve this game working again… who knows? So far I’ve managed to reach 1:09.21 so there’s a long way ahead of me.

OMG randomises its port!! Think this has been my issue with for a while now, setting a static in /etc/default/nfs-kernel-server seems to have fixed it!

Tengo grandes recuerdos de la saga clásica de (curiosamente no recuerdo el título de la saga que me marcó). Seguramente fue algún pues recuerdo esas noches, esas maravillosas luces... ahora me puedo considerar un fan sufrido de NFS. Me encanta .

Finally got my 2nd this week. I use the first for containers and have been worried for a while of the first breaking! The day of arrival the power adapter failed on the first unit! A warning sign!
Now converted 80% to use with storage via my and using tracking my instance to move the VIP around. All good fun!

The NAS is Synched overnight to a 2nd NAS - I am considering setting up real time sync between the two!
