Another #FossilFriday from my recent visit to the #NHM_London.

This one's from their truly dismal #Dinosaurs gallery. It's rubbish for almost everything other than the shadows on the walls.

The Alien-like pose of this Allosaurus (I believe - the labelling is even more atrocious in there than it used to be) is particularly striking.

Allosaurus is a Theropod dinosaur contemporary of Stegosaurus. Despite the similarities to Tyrannosaurus it was extant 10s of 1000s of years earlier.
