Unfortunately the report contains only one passing mention of open access. It comes when the ARC gets a pat on the back for "engagement with current and on-going debate around the shift towards open access, open data and open science."

I suppose it was likely outside the scope of the report, but the ARC Open Access Policy could do with being updated and brought into line with the 2022 NHMRC OA Policy (and other Plan S aligned policies). Hopefully we see this soon.
