After a quick flush to the nib and feed, it writes beautifully. I was expecting a dry writer, and I was ready to nib swap, but it's quite wet and smooth.
I filled it with Rohrer & Klingner Verdigris, it's a beautiful tealish-blue black ink.
My writing still sucks though.

Hopefully the ink will behave well in the #FountainPen. Though the ink being practically clear going on is annoying. I was curious about it, a non-blue-black iron gall.
(My favorite iron gall is Rohrer & Klingner Scabiosa.)

My first watercolor sketches were the reverse (because I didn't have water-proof ink), but then the paint went all over the place and the outlines didn't match :)
My findings:
– LAMY Safari works great with thicker ink: e.g. SketchInk
– Jinhao and #Sailor #Fude #Nib pens work with thinner ink for longer, e.g. DeAtramentis
- Noodlers ink can clog up pretty quickly :)
