Daughter on flying visit him from uni. Arrived 9pm and begins discussing Music Production course. Says she has a live sound assignment soon but doesn’t feel confident about micing a drum kit. This, readers, is one of the very few times I am comfortably able to achieve temporary super dad mode, as I suggest we go to my studio for a late night drum session.
