Discovered this song today. I've always loved #NickelCreek, and they're back with a new album after a hiatus of seven years or so. It's more atmospheric than their usual stuff, but this song has some mojo to it. #newgrass

30 years ago I got to experience one helluva weekend in Telluride. Though I missed seeing a bunch of kids called Nickel Creek because their set times in the Family Tent conflicted with sets by Tony Rice and Jerry Douglas, respectively. #PlanetBluegrass #TellurideBluegrass #NickelCreek

There’s not many bands I’ll go out of my way to see outside of #goose and #phish, but when #nickelcreek comes around, I don’t miss it.

I know it’s been out for a few weeks now, but tonight is my first listen start-to-finish of #NickelCreek “#Celebrants” and … my God what insane chord progressions. This is like the Mahler’s 8th of #progressivebluegrass. #wtaf

Found out this morning on #NPR one of my favorite #bluegrass bands, #NickelCreek, has just released their first album in nine years. The band has also announced tour dates!

I absolutely adore this band's music. And the musicianship of the members has increased exponentially over the years as they continued with other projects.

I am so happy Nickel Creek has a new album out! These three artists are amazing, and I'm grateful they decided to get back together for another album.

Since I pre-ordered, I've been listening to the digital copy, but the CD shows up today. 🙂
