Happy Birthday to Nick Mason, born on 27 January 1944. In addition to being Pink Floyd’s drummer and the only member of the band to play on every album, Nick has produced for #RobertWyatt, #Gong and #SteveHillage.

Most recently he formed Nick Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets, a live band playing early Floyd numbers, with #GaryKemp on guitar and vocals.

Yesterday, #Spotify served me up a new version of Comfortably Numb by #RogerWaters. It has no guitar solo, or none that I could find before skipping to the next song.

Hablemos de #música. Y hablemos de la que posiblemente sea la mejor composición musical del s. XX, de uno de los mejores grupos de todos los tiempos: #ComfortablyNumb, de #PinkFloyd.

#RogerWaters y #DavidGilmour han tenido sus más y sus menos, pero la obra maestra que crearon junto a #NickMason y #RichardWright está al alcance de muy pocos.

Te puede gustar más o menos, pero Roger Waters también sabe lo que hace, y esta "reinvención" es muy de su estilo.
