I was in disbelief how #ironic it all was. They started speaking about an issue #climateChange first started by using #BigTobbaco clips of #CEO s all claiming in a congressional hearing they believed #nicotine was not addictive. Pivoted to clips of politicians saying “I’m don’t know the science/ I’m not a scientist”
Interestingly there haven’t been any sponsored studies claiming the safety of #Covid but there were #disinformation claims masks don’t work

19 months now since I quit nicotine and it was just Hell for the first couple of months.
Never smoked. Used snuff, then vape juice on a pad behind the gums. Doesn't matter how you do it, nicotine is an evil addiction.
Quit alcohol 13 years ago, that was physically easier than nicotine.

4/4 and here a #Vape i happened to see on a neighbouring street just yesterday- i wouldn’t have recognised it before looking at vape pictures in the morning! So pretty and appealing - “strawberry and kiwi flavour” - but children end up inhaling #Nicotine of 20 cugarettes in half a day, destroying their lungs. Do read article in first point.
Maybe I’ve entered the world of moral panics, i don’t know, but it all rounds seems pretty bad to me

Research prepared for the Australian Health Department by Cancer Victoria found there had been a significant rise in vapers under the age of 35.
