Let's start with the skunk #dragon in the room. Skunks are my favorite animal, and for a couple years, that was my main fursona. And y'all know my Nidoragon♀ form.

I carefully chose these stickers knowing they would not go unused. Some of them also have a li'l story behind them. My greeting sticker, for example, needed to properly introduce myself, my enjoyment of pink, and my love of Game Boy. I'm wearing my "All Girl" shirt while giving a thumbs up because being a girl deserves it.

I'm not a skunkderg, anymore, in part because I'm no longer a fan of this design. But I still like these stickers and still use them.

Back in 2018, they hosted an art contest. So I entered a drawing featuring myself in my Nidoran-dragon♀ form and their character, Mrs. Nidorina. The drawing references an animated comic:

I can't remember if I've tried hamburger biscuits, but Doritos sandwiches are a childhood creation of mine. Nacho cheese Doritos and white bread. Try it!

As for this picture... I'm not really an artist. I keep trying to get into art, and wind up hating how much effort it takes to get meh results. This took 4 hours!
Also, I usually go for a sketchy look to hide my imperfections, but I cleaned this pic and added some shadowing to give it a better chance at winning. I think I should've kept it sketchy.

It's Nidoran Sunday!

This is a split icon made by Remixwuffy at Twitter, in 2018.

Although my main fursona was a raccoon-dragon, I really enjoyed being a Nidoran♀, and I wanted a profile pic that let everyone know it. The Pokeball that I'm wearing was a gimmick item that allowed me to transform between raccoon and Nido.

My favorite thing about this pic is how I'm looking up at my Nido ear. Like wow, look how big it got! This is also the only pic so far that features a set of Nido teeth. I'd imagine that as a Nidoran-dragon, I'm an omnivore. And can I point out my horn positions? It'd be one thing to have a part of my body change shape, but that gets pushed up to my forehead!

Nowadays, I have three forms, so the split icon idea won't work as well.

It's Nidoran Sunday!

Here's my first Nido pic ever, done by Casey L. Jones. I got this in 2017, seven years after I first started being a Nidoran♀! Why'd I put off getting Nido art for so long?

Also pictured is my twin brother, Draygone, as a Nidoran♂. Both of us played by me. Half-dragons, as we were raccoon-dragons by default. That makes this a post-transformation pic. Dray seems to be missing his tail, while I am fascinated at having less fingers (something I'm used to now as a pig).

The roleplay started in 2012. I split a few of my interests between us, while sharing others. It was a lot of fun playing up a brother/sister dynamic. We went together like peanut butter & jelly. (Or in this case, peanuts & poisonberry.)

I no longer roleplay as twins. It became too much a hassle, and I just like being myself. But I'll always remember these days fondly.

Nidoran is my absolute favorite Pokemon. Sundays at Twitter, I'd retweet any Nidoran art that was posted in the past week. I was guarenteed to find at least a few pics each time.

Here at Mastodon, Nidoran art is rare. So I'm gonna share my love of the poisonbunnies a different way, first by explaining why I've grown so fond of them and in fact have a Pokesona of a Nidoran♀.

It started in Second Life. In 2010, I found a Nidoran♀ modkit by Lenore Afterthought for the Curious ringtail. I originally wasn't much of a Nido fan, but this modkit was cute. Loved it so much, it nearly became my primary fursona. This led to my discovery that Nidos are actually quite versatile in the games.

Started as an adult before roleplaying as a pair of child twins (also pictured: my "brother"). Then added my dragon heritage, aging up to a teenager along the way, before finally finding a good quadruped avatar to mod into a Nido (the Bird-E-Mart manticore).
