The very subtle nod to Night Circus in The Starless Sea is just amazing! OMG I loved this book and now I’m so confused. I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS.

This book is like a contemporary fairytale and a fever dream all wrapped up in poetic prose.

I can’t believe this might end up being the second book I pick up to re-read right after I finish it. Erin Morgenstern can write absolutely anything next and I’ll sell my soul to read it.

OH! #NightCircus was fantastic! So lushly written. My friend and I read it and I told her after I finished, I want to be in that world. I am so sad now that it's over! And she said, "Me too!"
I can probably go through my books and recommend quite a few, if you want me to!

Never have I ever picked up a book to re-read this fast. I just couldn’t help it. Is this going to be an obsession? Yes. Do I have a problem? YES!

I’ve just finished listening to The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern.

I can’t remember who recommended it to me, but it has indeed been truly magical & a proper escape into another world.

I didn’t always follow what was going on, but got carried along with it, as if by magic.

@MaidMerry oooh I didn’t like it at all. It felt like a pretentious string of set pieces with an eyeroll-worthy “twist” to me.

Now, if she’d eliminated the second-person chapters altogether *and* told it from Isobel’s perspective? *That* could have been interesting.
