I spent 84-87 in #Mannheim observing and participating in the #Nihalism that comes from imminent nuclear annihilation so Gormenghast wasn't primary for me while words and human behaviors were! That sort of twisted into human health and disease and how to measure stuff at some point!

Has anyone noticed an increase in the use of the phrase, "I don't care"?

In #Australia we had a #ad with a pop #song that repeated #lyrics, "I don't care". Recently someone played a funky track with "#iDontCare" repeated constantly throughout. We quizzed them where they heard that and they said it appeared in a #Spotify playlist.

Do we need to track the use of "I don't care"?

There is a tendency on a so-called left to think, "if we can only just sing koombaya together or adopt this #technofix life all will be okay", this is #nihalism because everyone must then prescribe to that, eliminating all diversity and resiliency.

The introductory video is good. The #WallE reference was rather poigniant. Yes, it highlighted what could go wrong while also elevating #DisasterCapitalism into it.

The reference to a bloated #corporateState and its #neoBureaucracy is so necessary, along with a growing sense of #nihalism. #SocialMedia bombardment of information does this to a large extent, and they, being large corporations themselves who benefit from this system have tended to suppress movements, that might…1/2

Agree, many so-called #progressives are really just #identityLeftists that harbour #nihilistic thoughts against people they disagree with.

Just another form of #tribalism.

When the #identityLeft cannot refute a point using #logic, they often scream, "Don't want to talk about it!" or a favourite "That's #political, I don't do #politics". Some even say they just want humans to die or "Go to #Mars", another signal of #nihalism.
