I've been experimenting with the new Midjourney Niji style of AI Art.

I love the landscapes!

The "action" images are a little too cartoony for my taste, but that's how it's supposed to look, so I can't criticize the style; but using Niji to create interesting worlds is something that demands closer exploration!

@chespace Yep, just dropped this morning!

You can turn Niji on in your settings OR just add --niji to the end of your prompt.

It basically pulls from an anime/manga data set and gives your people a more dynamic look. (you still need to specify "style anime" or "style My Hero Academia" or whatever)

It did a really great job at capturing my essence! Except much skinnier, younger, and with a more defined chin! Bonus!

Okay, so my AI Bot -- Midjourney -- made a big hullabaloo this morning about now offering Niji images!

I guess that means Japanese Anime?

Here's what I got back from a "niji cat" prompt.

I'm not sure I understand why this style of AI Art gets is own niche on the Bot imagining server, but what do I know?

I don't think I'm into anime cats -- but maybe I'm missing something.
