I’m rereading Nikolai Dante from the start. I have a tremendous amount of affection for this strip, but man a lot of the early stuff has aged poorly. It’s very Loaded (remember the 2000AD Sex Special? Yikes. Actually the sex stuff is often the least problematic things in it). Fortunately there’s enough of a good core story for it to rise above all of that. #comics #2000AD #NikolaiDante #BritishComics

I feel like #NikolaiDante would work as a #TacticalRPG in the vein of #FireEmblem, #FinalFantasyTactics, or #TriangleStrategy. The story will probably diverge at least a bit from the comic, since the great loss Dante suffers towards the end is amazing storytelling but not great for gameplay.

Might as well throw in a matchmaking mechanic, and Dante doesn't HAVE to end up with Jena.

New 2000AD Humble Bundle looks pretty cool. Some token Judge Dredd, then a load of Slaine and Niloai Dante stuff. And the brilliant complete Caballistics and Absalom works.
