I still can't get over the quality of the Nikon z colors. They are so good - also with the Z lenses I get results with zero need for any color tweaking. If they make a #Z8 in a Z6 like body with the af of the z9, this will take over the fashion and portrait world.

Dear #Nikon users who do #portraitphotography and #fashion
I need a wide for my #nikonz, and I am torn between the choices. I need something for the "social media look", meaning 28 mm or maybe 24 mm (In my opinion, this is often too wide. I have and use the 24-70s f4 right now, but I would love to have an #f1.8 or #f1.4. The options are the Viltrox 24 mm f1.8 z, the old Sigma art 24/28 mm 1.4 or the new Nikon/Tamron 17-28 mm 2.8

Any experience with them and people?

Still having a hard time deciding between 35mm and 50mm. They are pretty close in general but still very different. I kind of like the way 35mm looks to me more if I'm being honest. I just don't need both lenses, the 35mm is more versatile overall but the 50mm can isolate subjects a little bit better but my 105mm can isolate them even more! Haha. 🤔

I'm pretty excited about this new Z mount lens - the 26mm f/2.8. Why? It's a full frame Pancake lens with a unique focal length. It's going to make my Nikon Z6II so small and light, definitely be interesting. It looks like it's going to have a metal mount and maybe some decent weather sealing. But we will see. My guess it will be released in March/April. If the price is right. I'm going pre-order asap. #nikon #nikonz #photography #camera #lens

I have lots of issues with the Nikkor Z 35mm f1.8 S lens. But I really like the image quality and the character the lens renders. However the auto focus of the lens is gotta be one of those most whacky out of all Nikon's Z-mount lenses. The thing is though, I feel like the hardware is there and Nikon just needs to workout a few kinks in the lens firmware and focus algorithm that could solve a lot of problems and make it much better lens.

Really pleased as to how this moon shot came out. New to trying this #Astrophotography thing, and the sky wasn't the clearest (city life). I'll have to try again tomorrow night with the full moon.

The Celestron smartphone "adapter" (using that term very, very loosely here) has been procured. It's.... fine for what it is. For $20 "name brand" I'd expect it to be a little less painful to deal with, but at least it's made of metal unlike the Chinese knockoff versions.

Tested it against some branches in the middle distance since it's dark and rainy in CA still. It works, not perfectly, but it works. Better than hand-holding the phone to the eyepiece. When there is a clear night I'll experiment with what actually takes the best photo.

Also may have received some fancy new Z-Glass for the Nikon today. Which I'm super excited about using. Not a great shot, but comparison for the Nikon vs Telescope. In this setup... the Nikon windows.
