This Saturday we (me and @hugogranstrom) are back with #nimib speaking hours! Come join us if you are curious about #nimib and #nimlang! https://calndr.link/event/FIR7M9Unkd https://github.com/pietroppeter/nimib/discussions/207
last week I did a presentation at our local (Milan, Italy) #Python Meetup. I did present a general intro to time series forecasting and #Nixtla: an open source ecosystem which I think it has the potential to become the reference framework for time series forecasting in #Python. Of course slides were done in #nim with #nimislides and #nimib. Repo here: https://github.com/pietroppeter/pymi-timeseries-forecasting-nixtla

tomorrow (April 1st but it's not a joke!) at 10:30 CEST me and @hugogranstrom will meet to chat about #nimib, any curious person is welcome to join! nimib forum discussion: https://github.com/pietroppeter/nimib/discussions/200#discussioncomment-5488929 calendar event: https://calndr.link/event/MXdGAsu8ng #nim
FINALLY put the last touches on a long lived PR for #nimibook (#nim, #nimib): https://github.com/pietroppeter/nimibook/pull/56
Last year (April!) I did big changes in how nimibook worked but these changes were never documented properly (and I never officially released the 0.3). Now (still have to merge...) all changes are properly documented in the changelog and nimibook documentation reflect the current state. I also took the opportunity to make it nim 2.0 compatible and to make some minor changes.
I made a visualization for #AdventOfCode2022 Day 4 Camp Cleanup with #nimlang #p5nim #p5js #nimib #adventofnim πππΈπ³ https://pietroppeter.github.io/adventofnim/2022/day04.html#viz

That's nice to hear that #nimiSlides has some aura of "coolness" at least π To be honest, I haven't had much use for it personally either, it was mainly the fun of creating it that has driven me. You can't have a fantastic library like #nimib and not have a presentation library built using it :).
My first proper presentation using it was my NimConf talks. And then I used it a few weeks ago for making a CV π
Ah, okay that's very reasonable :). That's awesome, more Nim to the people π
Fixed the old #p5js bindings for #nimlang and built a minisite with #nimib with some basic examples. Had a lot of fun! Also here on masto there is some cool art being produced using #p5js, a nice tag to explore! https://pietroppeter.github.io/nim-p5/
