I hate that I have to pay for Nintendo Online, but almost none of the services in games that use online connections, use Nintendo servers. Splatoon for example only has a matchmaking server. Everything else is P2P. It drives me nuts, because P2P for a game like splatoon, while allowing *global* matchmaking, leads to a lot of communication errors. Why am I paying for "online" services and not getting that...?

Anoche terminé al 100% Yoshi's Island de SNES en Nintendo Online. Lo suelo hacer cada año porque es uno de mis juegos preferidos.

Me encanta el estilo gráfico que parece dibujado a mano por niños. Es una pena que no haya más juegos con ese estilo pixelart. Que yo sepa solo el chileno eto2d trabaja con ese estilo. Recomiendo seguirle en Instagram, no sé si usa Mastodon.

#Nintendo takes down game servers impacted by hack

Nintendo has taken down the #WiiU Servers for #MarioKart8 and #Splatoon1. Officially for temporary Network maintenance, but it's likely they are (finally) looking into the impact of the #ENLBufferPwn, an unpatched exploit on #3DS / #Wii that allows attackers to take remote control of your console simply by joining the same online game as you.

I know this is sounding I'm butt hurt - but I'm more then irritated I could face a King Salmoniod before I go to bed, but EVERY TIME for the past 9 games I lose just 1 or 2 eggs away before I can battle the darn thing! I feel this is unfair quite frankly! :jolly_cry:​

Anoche me pasé el Tetris de Game Boy en el Nintendo Online tras varios días intentando llegar a los 200,000 puntos. Lo hago cada año usando el cartucho que me regalaron para la comunión pero esta vez por comodidad he usado el emulador de la Switch.

No sé si es muy conocido pero en el Tetris de Game Boy hay varios finales:

- En el modo A, dependiendo de cuántos puntos consigas se lanzará un cohete soviético más o menos gordo. Con 100.000 puntos sale un cohete pequeño, con 150.000 uno un poco más grande y finalmente 200.000 puntos veremos el cohete Soyuz.

- En el modo B, si lo terminas en el nivel 9-5 verás despegar el transbordador Burán. Este modo también muestras más o menos bailarines rusos dependiendo del nivel de dificultad elegido.

Cuando me pongo a jugar y tras varias partidas veo los 4 lanzamientos distintos es cuando considero que me he pasado el Tetris.
